Africa Climate Collaborative Project at the University of Ghana Networks, Policy, Learning and Dissemination
Building a Resilient Future: Connecting Knowledge, Policy, and People
We are committed to strengthening Africa's resilience to climate change through collaboration, informed policy, and inclusive learning. Our work ensures that marginalized and vulnerable communities have the resources and voice to thrive in a changing world.
Our Mission: Empower Through Connection
The climate crisis cannot be solved in isolation. Our Networks, Policy, Learning, and Dissemination initiative exists to build powerful bridges—connecting experts with policymakers, research with communities, and challenges with sustainable solutions. We focus on expanding networks to harness collective resources for a more resilient and equitable future.
Our Four-Pillar Strategy for Impact
We are turning our vision into action through these key activities:
- Forge a Continental Network
We are launching a regional networking program in collaboration with African regional bodies. This includes establishing five specialized Technical Networking Groups to boost expertise and collaboration on climate resilience.
- Embed Sustainability in Governance
We are creating a new governance structure for Sustainability, Climate, and Green Economy at the university level to ensure climate action becomes a core institutional priority.
- Amplify Knowledge and Outreach
We are expanding the University of Ghana data repository to fuel high-level research. Through policy briefs, community durbars, and public dialogues, we bring critical knowledge directly to schools and communities.
- Communicate with Innovation
To reach a wider audience, we leverage non-traditional communication tools to share our findings across Ghana, Africa, and the globe.
Impact in Action: Our Executed Activities
Our strategy is already delivering results through high-impact events that foster crucial dialogue.
