Are you passionate about climate action, technology, and innovation?
The Africa Climate Collaborative at the University of Ghana, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, invites students, software developers, young innovators, entrepreneurs, and climate advocates (ages 18 - 35) to participate in the GreenRes Hackathon 2026, under the theme: "Transforming Climate Awareness into Climate Action through Technology."
Form a team of up to five members and develop innovative solutions to address pressing climate challenges. Teams should include at least one female or a person with disability, and are encouraged to include individuals from marginalised and underserved communities.
Participants will benefit from expert mentorship, networking opportunities, and exciting prizes, including USD 7,000 for the winning team, USD 2,000 for second place, and USD 1,000 for third place.
