About
Derrick Owusu-Ansah is a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and development specialist with decades of experience leading and managing complex programmes and evaluations across Africa. He currently leads impact measurement, project monitoring, and learning functions for the Africa Climate Collaborative Project at the University of Ghana. Professionally, his work combines systems thinking, institutional strengthening, and adaptive management, supporting governments, donors, and research institutions to design and operationalise robust results frameworks, digital data systems, and mixed-methods evaluations across sectors, including youth employment, education, climate resilience, sustainability, and agriculture. Derrick’s research interests focus on urban systems, sustainable development, and quantitative impact modelling, with a focus on applying rigorous quantitative techniques, spatial analysis, and mixed-method approaches to understand systems change and evaluate development outcomes.
